Your Hype Girl, Meish!
Meet the founder
Before she became a Hype Girl, Lameisha Sherri was an “80s baby” with big ideas who dreamed of becoming the 4th member of Salt-N-Pepa. She started her first business at age seven. Years of trying, failing, starting, stopping, and starting again taught her that having an idea and being prepared to own a business are different experiences.
In 2019, she established HypeHer® Ventures. She brings her experience in education, design, entrepreneurship, ministry, and coaching together to help women recognize what they carry, trust their decisions, and develop the competence to own what they create.

As your Hype Girl, Meish combines encouragement with purposeful questions and practical learning. Her work gives attention to both what you want to create and who you’re becoming as you develop it.

Ideas To Income™ introduces focused exploration and a first test plan; the Academy gives you more time and structure to apply what you learn, gather evidence, and develop the practices and systems for ownership.

What is The HypeHer® BUILDHERS™ Academy?
The HypeHer® BUILDHERS™ Academy is a developmental entrepreneurship pathway designed to prepare women not simply to start businesses, but to become confident and competent business owners. Women progress through three stages: BUILDHer, ESTABLISHer, and OWNHership.
Who is the BUILDHERS™ Academy for?
The Academy is designed for women who want to explore entrepreneurship, validate a business idea, or become better prepared to build and own a business—not simply launch one.
How is the BUILDHERS™ Academy different from a traditional entrepreneurship program?
Starting a business and being prepared to own one are not the same thing. The Academy doesn’t begin with forming an LLC, creating a logo, or launching a website. It begins with the woman—her confidence, judgment, and ability to sustain what she creates.
Why emphasize Confidence & Competence?
Confidence helps you believe you can build. Competence develops your ability to actually do it. The Academy intentionally develops both because sustainable ownership requires more than motivation—it requires knowledge, practice, decision-making, and systems.
What is the BUILDHer Phase?
The BUILDHer Phase develops the woman before she builds the business. Through confidence, clarity, and courage, she identifies what she carries, explores what she may be equipped to build, and prepares herself for entrepreneurship.
What is the ESTABLISHer Experience?
The ESTABLISHer Experience helps a woman determine whether her idea is worth building. She moves beyond enthusiasm and begins gathering real-world evidence through customer discovery, testing, validation, and development of her offer before making a significant investment.
What is the OWNHership Stage?
The OWNHership Stage transforms a validated idea into a business she is prepared to own. She develops the knowledge, practices, systems, and infrastructure required to build, launch, operate, and sustain what she creates.
Do I need to already have a business idea?
Not necessarily. The BUILDHer Phase is designed to help women gain clarity about what they may be equipped to build before requiring them to have a fully developed business concept.
What if my idea doesn’t validate?
That isn’t failure. Validation gives you evidence to decide whether to proceed, adjust, pivot, or reconsider your idea before making a larger investment of your time and money.
How will I know when I’m ready to launch?
Completing a course doesn’t automatically mean you’re ready to launch. During the OWNHership Stage, BUILDHERS™ work toward defined launch-readiness standards that consider both the business infrastructure and the owner’s preparedness to operate what she has built.
